Air: Name on ticket must match government issued ID for passengers over the age of 17. Once air is confirmed, changes and cancellations are subject to repricing. Airfare is based on roundtrip travel, subject to change, and guaranteed only with Protection Plan purchase or when paid in full. Tickets are issued as deemed necessary. The passenger is responsible for fees and increase of fare if lost due to duplicate reservation or incorrect name. Flight delays and cancellation are outside the control and responsibility of Distinguished Resorts Hawaii World.
Fly-Drive: Car rental requires a minimum rental period.
Form of Payment: American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa; credit or debit card, agency check.
Documents: Sent to travel agent three weeks before departure. Special shipping fees are billed to recipient.
Change and Cancel Fees: Are per person per change or cancellation. In addition air, hotel and car penalties will be applied. Change includes accommodations, air, date and name. Once travel has begun, airline routing and/or class of service changes are not permitted.

Refunds: Considered upon written application within 30 days of travel. $150 service fee without Protection Plan purchase. No refunds for partially used roundtrip tickets or non-refundable airfares or hotels.
Physical Disabilities: Customers requiring special services must disclose at time of reservation. Transportation and wheelchair accessible rooms can be requested for an additional charge but are not guaranteed unless paid and confirmed before travel. Hotel standards vary and are not within the control of Distinguished Resorts Hawaii World. International destinations do not conform to the United States American Disabilities Act standards. Travelers with special needs should consult their Travel Professional or the country’s consulate.
Baggage: Airline imposed baggage fees are the responsibility of the passenger and are subject to change. Regional carriers may limit the weight and number of bags that may be checked or carried on. Contact your airline or refer to its website for baggage policies.
Baggage Insurance: Cancel Anytime Protection Plan Plus is recommended for baggage insurance. Without coverage neither Distinguished Resorts Hawaii World nor your travel agent is responsible for loss or damage.
Rental Car: Pre-paid 24-hour day. Gas, insurance, drop charge, overtime costs, additional driver charge are not included and are paid directly. Driver must be 21 with valid driver’s license, major credit card or cash deposit per day. Drivers 21 to 24 pay daily surcharge direct. Additional drivers must be at least 25 years old. Highway use tax, vehicle licensing fee included, except hotel car package taxes are paid directly.
Lost Tickets: $200 application charge per ticket with Protection Plan, $300 without. Vouchers not refundable.
Protection Plan: Allows travelers to change or cancel their vacation package. Protection Plan is not insurance, can be purchased up to time of final payment and is non-refundable in part or whole.
Cancel Anytime Protection Plan Plus: This insurance, issued by BCS Insurance Company, can be purchased up to time of final payment and is non-refundable in part or whole. Detailed description, conditions, exclusions and limitations will be provided with initial reservation and final documents or can be viewed at HawaiiWorld.com or DistinguishedResorts.net.
No shows: The entire cost of the vacation is non-refundable if Distinguished Resorts Hawaii World is not notified of inability to travel prior to scheduled departure.
Rates: Exclude gratuities, meals, beverages, parking fees, insurance, telephone calls, resort fees, laundry service and other miscellaneous charges unless specifically listed. Airline taxes, facility charges, security fees are quoted at time of reservation and are subject to change. International departure taxes must be paid at the airport at departure. Details will be listed on the itinerary if departure tax must be paid. U.S. residents returning from a foreign country are required to pay a duty on good acquired abroad valued at more than $800 USD. Hotel and Cruise Information: Added values, guest services and amenities are subject to change without notice at the discretion of the hotel/cruise ship. Room/cabin standards and all hotel/cruise ship facilities are the sole responsibility of the hotel/cruise ship. Guest services and resort fees may require additional costs payable directly to the hotel/cruise ship. Room/cabin location and bedding requests are not guaranteed and are based upon availability at time of check-in. Additional bedding requests, such as rollaway beds or cribs, may be available at an extra charge. Hotel/cruise \ship photos are representative only and do not necessarily depict the actual room/cabin in which guests will be accommodated. Proof of Citizenship: To enter Mexico, Costa Rica and the Caribbean (with the exception of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands) all travelers need a passport valid for six months after travel. No refunds will be made to passengers affected by failure to possess proper documents. Additional information can be found at travel.state.gov.
Entry Requirements: Check with your travel agent, the country’s consulate, immigration office or visit travel.state.gov for specific and most current entry requirements.
Responsibility: The suppliers providing transportation, sightseeing arrangements, tours, excursions and accommodations ("Suppliers") for the vacations are independent contractors and are not agents, affiliates, representatives or employees of Distinguished Resorts Hawaii World hereby known as DR HW, or any of its subsidiaries, related companies, or parents Pleasant Holidays ("PH Parties"). DR HW has no ownership interest in any Supplier. Any use of the DR HW name by a Supplier is for identification purposes only and does not constitute ownership, agency, supervision or control by DR HW. All documentation, receipts and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions specified by the Supplier. By utilizing the services of the Suppliers, you agree that neither DR HW nor any of the PH Parties shall be liable for (1) any accident, loss, injury or damage to you or to those traveling with you in connection with any accommodations, transportation or other services or resulting directly or indirectly from any occurrences or conditions including, but not limited to, negligence, defects in vehicles, equipment malfunction, strikes, "Acts of God," riots, terrorist acts or threats, wars, acts of governmental authority, theft, delays, weather conditions, environmental conditions, cancellations or changes in itineraries or schedules or (2) loss or damage to property or injury to persons, caused by reason of any act or omission, intentional, negligent or otherwise by such third party Suppliers. DR HW makes no implied or express warranties in the offering of any vacation described in these materials. Remember that all travel documents and required personal identification, as well as compliance with agricultural regulations, is your responsibility. The terms under which you agree to take a vacation cannot be changed or amended except in writing, signed by an authorized officer of DR HW. Airlines are not responsible for any act, omission or event during the time you are not on board their aircraft. The customer contract in use by the airline, when issued, constitutes the sole agreement between you and the airline. The right is reserved to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of the vacation at any time prior to departure or during the course of the vacation. Refer to the travel tips enclosed with travel documents for assistance once travel has commenced or contact our Customer Experience Department at Distinguished Resorts Hawaii World, LLC, 2404 Townsgate Road, Westlake Village, California, 91361 in writing within 30 days of your return regarding service issue disputes. In those cases where a refund is warranted, all unused documentation must be returned in order to process the refund. DR HW reserves the right to cancel any vacation prior to departure for any reason. Should this occur refunds will be made without any further obligation by DR HW.
Travel Consumer Restitution Fund Disclosure:
For passengers who purchase from within the State of California: This transaction is covered by the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund (TCRF) if the seller of travel was registered and participating in the TCRF at the time of sale and the passenger is located in California at the time of payment. Eligible passengers may file a claim with TCRF if the passenger is owed a refund of more than $50 for transpiration or travel services which the seller of travel failed to forward to a proper provider or such money was not refunded to you when required. The maximum amount which may be paid by the TCRF to any one passenger is the total amount paid on behalf of the passenger to the seller of travel, not to exceed $15,000. A claim must be submitted to the TCRF within 12 months after the scheduled completion date of the travel. A claim must include sufficient documentation to prove your claim and a $35 processing fee. Claimants must agree to waive their right to other civil remedies against a registered participating seller of travel for matters arising out of a sale for which you file a TCRF. For passengers purchasing from outside of California: This transaction is not covered by the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund.
Purchase Money and Deposit Plan Disclosure: California law requires certain sellers of travel to have a trust account or bond or be bonded though the United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA). Distinguished Resorts Hawaii World is a participant in USTOA’s Consumer Protection Deposit Plan. You may make a claim to this plan if you are owed a refund. The Plan covers losses for transportation or travel services that were not delivered or not refunded when required. A claim can be made when a tour operator declares bankruptcy, becomes insolvent or ceases business, or 120 days following the failure of a tour operator to refund a payment or deposit after a cancellation or material failure to complete performance of a tour(s) or vacation package(s). The program covers tours or vacation packages purchased up to seven (7) days following official notification to the USTOA of an Active Member’s bankruptcy, insolvency or cessation of business. Claims must be filed no later than ninety (90) days after the bankruptcy, insolvency, cessation of business or failure to refund on account of cancellation or non-performance, as the case may be. USTOA’s total liability for all possible consumer claims is limited to $1,000,000. The maximum amount of any claim you, the passenger, can make against the plan is the total amount paid on behalf of the passenger to the seller of travel.
Limitation of Liability: By making a booking, you acknowledge that in all events, DR HW shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages and that the sole extent of DR HW's liability shall never exceed the amount actually paid by you to DR HW.
Arbitration: Any dispute arising out of, or relating to, any vacations offered shall be submitted to non-binding arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act. To the extent that the Federal Arbitration Act either is inapplicable, or held not to require arbitration of a particular claim or claims, California law pertaining to agreements to arbitrate shall apply and the arbitration shall be conducted under the terms of the California Code of Civil Procedure. The nonbinding arbitration shall take place in or near the County of Ventura, State of California. Each party shall pay for its own costs, arbitration fees and attorneys' fees, if any.
