Our Protection Plan protects your vacation investment. The Protection Plan must be purchased at the time of deposit and is non-refundable. Protection Plan — Hawaii Mexico Caribbean Costa Rica
Hawaii World and Distinguished Resorts offer an optional Protection Plan, which allows passengers to revise their vacation or cancel up to time of scheduled departure for any reason. This plan must be purchased at the time of deposit and is non-refundable. Hawaii World and Distinguished Resorts guarantee prices when booking is paid in full or under deposit with purchase of the Protection Plan. All changes must be made through Hawaii World, Distinguished Resorts or all penalties will apply. The Protection Plan is not insurance and should not be confused with more comprehensive traveler's insurance programs sold by travel agents.

All passengers on the same booking or cross-reference bookings sharing the same unit or car must purchase waiver. We reserve the right to ticket as we deem necessary.
PROTECTION PLAN WAIVES:

- One airline revision or cancel fee once ticketed
- Hotel penalties
- Waives $150 on refund of unused land services
- Changes to dates, flights in same class of service
EXCLUSIONS:
Air — cancel on nonrefundable published fares, no shows; name errors, fare increases or airline fees due to voluntary name changes, schedule changes, increases to airline or government fees, taxes or surcharges; more than one change or cancel once ticketed.
Hotel — no shows, non refundable hotel rates, certain hotel imposed fees, fees paid directly to hotel and hotel car packages, increases due to government fees, taxes or surcharges.
Golf and Activities.
Car — car is mandatory to qualify for fly-drive, no refund once travel has begun, increases due to government fees, taxes or surcharges.

Refunds after travel are considered upon written application within 30 days after travel. $150 service charge without Protection Plan purchase. No refunds for partially used roundtrip tickets or nonrefundable fares.
Hawaii World Distinguished Resorts reserves the right to change Protection Plan coverage, prices, and/or inclusions at any time.
HAWAII WORLD, DISTINGUISHED RESORT OFFERS PROTECTION PLAN PLUS:
Hawaii World and Distinguished Resorts' Protection Plan Plus and Preferred Protection Plan at an additional $20 per adult and $15 per child, offers insurance coverage provided under a Master Policy issued by BCS Insurance Company. For a detailed description on conditions, exclusions and

Protection Plan — Tahiti
Distinguished Resorts Travel Protection Plan Only $124 per Person
We have designed a special program which is available year round to help protect you and your travel investment. This program includes Trip Cancellation due to specified covered reasons, which would entitle you to a cash refund, as well as the Distinguished Resorts Pre-Departure Cancellation Waiver that allows you to cancel your vacation up to 72 hours before scheduled departure for ANY REASON NOT COVERED by the Travel Protection Plan provisions. Cancellations under the Distinguished Resorts Pre-Departure Cancellation Waiver will entitle you to a Distinguished Resorts/Pleasant Holidays Travel Certificate for use on a future Distinguished Resorts/Pleasant Holidays vacation.
Our comprehensive, optional Travel Protection Plan also provides valuable concierge services to assist with special arrangements for your vacation, such as arranging golf tee times, restaurant reservations and event tickets.
If you purchase the Travel Protection Plan within 14 days of initial deposit/payment, you will also be covered for pre-existing medical conditions, provided your trip cost is less than $10,000 per person, you are medically able to travel on the date of purchase of insurance and you have not filed a claim for Trip Cancellation due to a pre-existing illness within 120 days prior to the purchase of insurance.
For your convenience, the Travel Protection Plan will be included on your invoice. Please contact Distinguished Resorts within 10 days of purchase to receive a full refund of insurance premium if you are not satisfied with the coverage*. * Although we strongly recommend that you elect the benefits and coverage provided by the Travel Protection Plan, you may decline this protection on your invoice. Premium refunds will be issued providing you have not already departed on your vacation or filed a claim under the Travel Protection Plan.
** Insurance coverage is provided under a Master Policy Form No. 52.401 issued by BCS Insurance Company, administered by World Access Service Corp. This program contains a Pre-Existing Condition Exclusion and General Program Exclusions. Other conditions, limitations and exclusions may apply. LIMITATIONS, CONDITIONS & EXCLUSIONS
The Travel Protection Plan is an optional item, and the insurance coverage is non-transferable. Customers who have purchased the insurance coverage will receive a detailed description of the plan, its conditions and exclusions. Certain limitations, conditions and exclusions apply and are detailed in the Certificate of Insurance that is provided with your final travel documents. Please note the insurance coverage does not cover penalties associated with air or other travel arrangements not provided by Pleasant Holidays.
California Residents: This plan contains disability insurance benefits or health insurance benefits, or both, that only apply during the covered trip. You may have coverage from other sources that already provides you with these benefits. You should review your existing policies. If you have any questions about your current coverage, call your insurer or health plan.

Texas Residents: Please be advised that this optional coverage may duplicate coverage already provided by your personal auto insurance policy, homeowner's insurance policy, personal liability insurance policy or other source of coverage.
Trip Cancellation coverage includes the Distinguished Resorts Pre-Departure Cancellation Waiver that allows you to cancel your vacation up to 72 hours before scheduled departure for ANY REASON NOT COVERED by the Travel Protection Plan provisions. When a cancellation for a reason that is not covered by the Travel Protection Plan provisions occurs during a penalty period, your cancellation penalty will be refunded in Distinguished Resorts/Pleasant Holidays Travel Certificates, with the balance of the refund made either in cash or credit card credit at the discretion of Pleasant Holidays.
Please note, the Distinguished Resorts/Pleasant Holidays Travel Certificates are non-transferable, non-refundable, valid for one year and may not be redeemed for cash.
