In addition to the Fairmont's 397 room resort property, the Mayakoba resort development houses additional hotel sites, two golf courses and residential properties. The various areas are connected by a series of deep lagoons enabling easy movement from place to place using complimentary 'lanchas', a covered canal boat service, as well as a network of well-marked nature trails. Rooms have either one king or two queen beds. Private Oceanfront casistas offer one queen bed.

The 16,000 square feet Willow Stream Spa features 20 treatment rooms including a unique couple's suite in the treetops, plus two mineral pools and steam rooms.
